Rosleague is just a short distance from the sought after village of Letterfrack is situated approximately 15 kms N.E. of Clifden on the main N59 leading to Westport,
one of the most popular tourist routes in the West of Ireland. Letterfrack is nestled
at the foot of Diamond Hill, overlooking Barnaderg Bay and lies at the head of
Ballinakill Harbour. The village is home to the Connemara National Park visitors
centre and additionally the Furniture College which is an extension of GMIT, one of
Ireland’s leading colleges in this field. There is a wide range of amenities in the village including, restaurants, shops and supermarkets, a library, post office, Garda station and butchers. There is a good bus service to Clifden and Galway on a daily basis. Clifden, known as the capital of Connemara, is the gourmet centre of the west with many restaurants, pubs and delicatessens to whet the appetite.
Ballinakill Bay is a deep sheltered harbour lying between the Renvyle Peninsula
and Cleggan. It provides safe moorings and is an ideal location for all water-based
activities with the outer reaches of the bay providing excellent sea angling facilities.
The area is well known for its sporting and country activities. There are numerous
fishing lakes, rivers and streams. Brown trout may be caught, but the fisherman’s
ultimate catch is the majestic Atlantic salmon and nearby are some of the best internationally renowned game fisheries. The Twelve Bens north of Clifden and the
National Park at Letterfrack provide ideal terrain for walking, hiking, climbing and
other outdoor pursuits. Errislannin Manor Riding School and coral strand are a short walk. Mannin Bay, Ballyconneely Bay, Dogs Bay and Gorteen Beach are within easy drive of the property and are filled with the clearest Atlantic water. Excellent sailing and windsurfing facilities are to be found along the coast. An hour’s drive brings you to Galway city, Westport and Knock Airport.

From Clifden take the N59 towards Letterfrack, for approximately
1km turning left just before the entrance to the Rossleague Manor
Hotel.
From Letterfrack follow signs to Clifden, turn right just after the
entrance for the Rosleague Manor Hotel.
