The renowned Clifden Arts Festival which runs for 2 weeks every September. There is a playschool, national school and newly built secondary school. Bookended by the magnificent 12 Bens Mountain Range and the Atlantic Ocean, this property is a short drive from stunning white sandy beaches along the coast of Ballyconneely, Cleggan and Renvyle.

The Connemara National Park in Letterfrack is a 15 minute drive away and provides a selection of lovely walks from wooded to mountainside, including one to the top of Diamond Hill. Kylemore Abbey and Gardens is also just a 5-minute drive from the park. There is an extensive shop and coffee shop catering to tourists.
